ATLANTA – June 9, 2022 – Atlanta Market fills the three-building AmericasMart Atlanta campus with 20+ engaging tastemaker presentations, gourmet demonstrations, tours and events over six days during the July 12-18, 2022 buying event.

Atlanta Market presents programming in three dynamic locations in Summer 2022: the Building 3 atrium, the Jura Gourmet Demonstration Kitchen in Building 2 and the Atlanta Market Seminar Space in Building 1.
The dramatic Building 3 atrium is the main stage this July, hosting a series of engaging tastemaker presentations and the Market Kickoff party featuring Fleetwood Mac tribute band Rumours on Wednesday, July 13 at 6 p.m. Educational programming kicks off with “Remco’s World of Flowers, Art & Event Design Still Life: Still Alive,” a live floral demonstration presented by Remco Van Vliet, a third generation Dutch Master Florist and the exclusive floral designer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Wednesday, July 13 at 1 p.m. followed by a meet and greet in the Accent Décor showroom. “New Takes on Traditional Design” is a panel discussion featuring leading interior design and design entrepreneurs moderated by Architectural Digest Editor Lila Allen on Thursday, July 14 at 1 p.m. In “Elevate Your Brand with Adam and Tory” friends and gift experts Adam Glassman and Tory Johnson share what it takes to make the coveted Oprah's Favorite Things list and how to land on "Good Morning America" and "The View" plus some of their top picks from Atlanta Market on Friday, July 15 at 1 p.m. The atrium also will host “Afternoon Beats” daily entertainment and refreshments at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 – Friday, July 15.
The Jura Gourmet Demonstration Kitchen in the heart of the gourmet and housewares showroom collection in Building 2, Floor 8 is buzzing this market with national and local talent including “Top Chef” finalist, “Guy’s Grocery Games” participant, cooking competition judge and national restaurateur Chef Brian Malarkey on Wednesday, July 13 at 2 p.m. and the food and beverage team from Atlanta favorite Alma Cocina Downtown presenting a craft cocktail demonstration paired with light bites in “Sip & Savor Modern Mexico with Alma Cocina” on Friday, July 15 at 2 p.m. Also in the Jura Gourmet Demonstration Kitchen on Wednesday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m. is a market-wide meet up of gourmet and housewares retailers presented as part of the GCX: Expo & Education. Additional Jura Gourmet Demonstration Kitchen programming is to be announced.
The Atlanta Market Seminar space (Building 1, Floor 14) hosts six days of business-building programming for retailers and designers, presented daily at 10 a.m. “Multiply and Diversify Your Revenue with Zero Ad Spend” explores leveraging customers’ needs to unlock new revenue streams on Tuesday, July 12. “Retail Tips from the Stars” features some of Home Accent Today's Retail Stars discussing how to manage customer expectations, recruit and retain motivated employees, shop the markets as consumer demand shifts, and generally thrive in an increasingly competitive retail landscape in a lively conversation moderated by Editor-in-Chief Allison Zisko on Wednesday, July 13. “Conversations with Kelli” presents Rue's Editorial Director Kelli Lamb in conversation with HGTV's "Design Star: Next Gen" winner Carmeon Hamilton about current design trends and a discussion of Lamb’s new book, Home With Rue, with a book giveaway and signing to follow on Thursday, July 14. WithIt, a women’s leadership development network for the home furnishings industry, presents its first-ever Atlanta Market event, a panel discussion “Wonder Woman and the Power of the Pack” about the challenges women business owners face and empowerment created through support of a “pack” featuring Juniper by IMC VP of Social Impact Vanessa Bruce and Curated Home Brands Principal Katrena Grigg in conversation with Dawn Brinson of Media Matters followed by a speed networking session and lunch on Friday, July 15. “Commerce For Good: The Importance of Values-Based Sourcing” is a panel discussion led by Juniper by IMC VP of Social Impact Vanessa Bruce featuring emerging makers discussing the importance of weighing a brands' ethics and values when sourcing new vendors and products on Saturday, July 16.
Tours and Consultations Highlight the Best of Market
Atlanta Market offers three guided opportunities for buyers to learn about its vast product offerings. The “New Buyer Tour: Temporaries” is a tour of Atlanta Market’s 10 temporary exhibit floors led by Marie Knight, SVP of Gift & Home Tradeshows at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13. Design Services Manager Caroline Russell leads the “New Buyer Tour: Home” exploring home décor resources on Thursday, July 14. Buyers also can meet with Russell and tour the updated and relocated Design Workspace at the “Designer Workspace Grand Re-Opening” event on Thursday, July 14 at 4 p.m. Additionally, Buyer Services Manager JD Whitehead offers personal consultations for gift buyers Tuesday, July 12 through Thursday July 14, 8 – 10 a.m. in the Building 2, Floor 8 Buyers Lounge.
