Atlanta Market Partners With Coffee Fest Atlanta

Shows To Run Concurrently for First Time in July 2021

International Market Centers (IMC) and Clarion Events have announced a first-time partnership between the Summer 2021 Atlanta Market and Coffee Fest Atlanta 2021, offering buyers and suppliers in both B2B buying events new cross-category exposure and opportunities. Coffee Fest Atlanta – a leading resource for specialty coffee businesses – takes place July 15-16 at the Georgia World Congress Center; and Atlanta Market – the nation’s premier gift, décor and lifestyle market - runs July 13-19 at AmericasMart Atlanta.

"Atlanta Market's goal is to help retailers and brands grow their businesses," said Dorothy Belshaw, chief customer and marketing officer for IMC. "Through this exciting partnership with Coffee Fest Atlanta, we are able to offer participants in both trade events additional opportunities to explore new revenue streams."

Elements of this new partnership include a joint marketing campaign in which Atlanta Market and CoffeeFest will spotlight relevant cross-category resources to encourage retailers to visit both buying events on July 15 and 16 when the markets overlap. To facilitate cross-market attendance, IMC and Clarion Events will offer reciprocal credentialing for attendee registration.

“Coffee Fest is excited to return to Atlanta and with a new collaboration with Atlanta Market. When we realized we were so close to AmericasMart Atlanta, we jumped at the opportunity to bring more to our buyers,” said Coffee Fest Portfolio Director, Erika Lowery. “Specialty coffee products cross over into the gift industry very well and cafes are always looking for new merchandise opportunities to supplement their coffee sales so it was a great fit. We are excited to host our second live event in 2 months and can’t wait to return to the Atlanta gift and coffee scene.”

Coffee Fest has been supporting specialty coffee businesses since 1992. Today, Coffee Fest produces four trade shows annually, strategically positioned four U.S. regions (Eastern, Central Western and in the Pacific Northwest). Coffee Fest Atlanta features more than 50 exhibitors of coffee roasting, brewing and serving products, packaging and point of sale systems and related merchandise, as well as 50-plus free educational sessions presented over two days, focusing on topics such as specialty coffee and beverage trends, business operations, marketing strategies, staffing and more. Show floor hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursday, July 15; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, July 16. Tickets for Coffee Fest are $21 per person until July 14; and $40 after July 14 and is free for registered Atlanta Market attendees. For information and registration, visit www.coffeefest.com.
